HCP Newsletter August 2014
Welcome to follow the launch of the 2014 Euro Diabetes Index!
Where in Europe do you find the best diabetes care?
The new Euro Diabetes Index reveals where there has been improvement and standstill in the development of diabetes care in 30 countries
The 2014 Euro Diabetes Index will be presented September 17, during the EADS congress in Vienna (50th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes).
Already in 2008 Health Consumer Powerhouse (HCP) analysed care conditions for people with diabetes. The very first Euro Diabetes Index (EDI) provided a platform for awareness and systematic improvement. Now is the time to assess progress over the past six years. What is in a pan-European best practice for diabetes – and what would it take to get there?
We have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the EDI congress seminar September 17 09:00 – 11:00, with a simultaneous, open-for-all webinar. (Physical attendance to the launch requires congress registration). Please register for the seminar by sending your name, title, organisation and “EDI launch seminar” no later than September 10 to: firstname.lastname@example.org !
To take part in the webcast, go to healthpowerhouse.com (web link to become active at launch day). This will allow you access for free to the launch seminar and to insert questions to the moderator. No registration is required for participation in the webinar.
